We had a very fun, but busy Fourth of July. It started out really early. Jean & Jeff and Co. were in the Provo parade so we headed down there in the a.m. We needed to make sure to leave early enough so we could get a good seat so they could hear us yelling for them. Thanks to Charlie and his family who had gotten there early to save seats. There were a few neat things in the parade. Some of them got me choked up. The flag at the beginning always does it for me. There was a group of special needs troops that also did me in. And of course the missionaries. Only in Utah will you see missionaries walking in a parade and not get booed! Pretty cool! After the parade we headed to Jean's house. We had a BBQ, (yummy hot dogs, chips, fruit) hung out and rested from the parade. Some went swimming and others got ready for Stadium of Fire. Then a big group of us headed back to Provo to see Fayth dance. She did a fantastic job as always! When she was done we headed back to Jean's for another BBQ. Fantastic steak, hamburgers, salads, and lots more this time! For some reason the guys thought they needed to show us they were men and climbed on the roof and started cleaning rain gutters and stuff! Whatever! Then we heard this loud noise. All the sudden we saw the jets flying over that were headed to the stadium for the flyover. We ended the night with ice cream, pie and fireworks! Thanks Jean and Jeff for everything!

So much fun! Great pics. I am so glad we were there. Wish you woulda got a picture of the bucket blowing up though!
So fun to spend holidays with lost of family. Very cool that the Abrams were in the parade!
Love the slideshow! Why were the Abrams in the parade? I mean, we know they are great and all, but how where they selected? M & L did not know they were going to be in it. They always go to the parade. Remember the picnics we used to have every year? Oh, yea, you might be too young, sorry. But they were fun!
Wish we could've had more family for the day! It was a great time though. We were in the parade because our stake did a float and noone else wanted to be in it so jeff and I volunteered our family. Nice of us huh?
If they snooze, they loose. It sounds like you had a ball!!
