Thank you Huntington Beach North Stake!!!

The youth of the Huntington Beach North Stake came up here for their Youth Conference this week. One of their activities was putting on a carnival today for the UDSF(Utah Down Syndrome Foundation). It was a lot of fun. They did a really good job. When you walked up, they had one of the youth assigned to each one of your kids. So as a parent, you didn't have to do anything!!! They had big bounce toys, games and prizes, water and lemonade, watermelon, snow cones, and pictures. Everyone had so much fun. Thank you so much Huntington Beach North Stake for the fun carnival! Rob had to work today, so Onika went to with me to help. Thanks Onika! (Judy, they said there are two stakes in Huntington Beach. I didn't know if this is your stake or not??)
Israel & Nikolas doing the baseball toss.

Lexi fishing.

The Stake Pres. getting wet sponges thrown at his head.

The kids on the bounce slide
The whole group.
Maddi playing a game.
The kids and their buddies!

Israel loved the big beach ball!

Jodi, I'm in the other stake - Huntington Beach Stake. That's cool that they went up there. It looks like Israel had fun with that huge ball.

And by the way, Jodi, I'm eating cantaloupe right now. The smell of cantaloupe always reminds me of going to your house in Cal. Don't know why. Maybe we ate a lot of cantaloupe when we used to get together in Arcadia. Isn't that weird?

I wish we could do that so bad! They must have a huge budget for stuff like that, and i don't think we do. We haven't even had our youth conference yet.

That is soo wonderful to teach the youth how to serve. There are so many really good kids, I wish things like that were publicized so the world can see that not all the youth are in gangs.
